The MIA issue; saving CC pages before they disappear!
Submitted by StuartBell on April 28, 2005 - 8:20pmAnother thread raises the issue of CC pages missing in action. Let's start to address the question, by assembling a list of the important pages:
1. The original 'Takky' site with the Power Colour Classic upgrade.
2. The gazebing room Mystic clocking page.
3. The Colour Classic FAQ.
4. (if I may suggest!) My Power Colour Classic pages.

Colour Classic Analogue board, logic board, etc for exchange
Submitted by djpumpkin on November 27, 2011 - 5:22pmI have a number of Colour Classic parts that I would be willing to exchange for a Colour Classic badge / panel (the small panel below the screen that has 'Colour Classic' written on it) in good condition.
Loud whining noise and odd smell, but system operates normally
Submitted by ajerimez on September 12, 2011 - 4:14amThe other day my CC suddenly started making a loud whining noise which sounded like a failing HDD bearing, so I powered it off and replaced the HDD. However, the noise is still there, accompanied by an odd odor. Apart from these two symptoms, the CC appears to be operating normally.
Is it possible to resurrect dead Color Classic logic boards?
Submitted by bengi on August 13, 2011 - 11:01amI have quite a collection of dead CC logic boards, all have been recapped and washed in the dishwasher. Besides recapping what other parts can be replaced? For instamc what the thre LPs (LP1, LP2 and LP3) are?
How come there are no schematic around.
If anybody has some info I'd apprecited,
Ben

Submitted by ravuya on June 13, 2011 - 10:25pmI recently picked up a second Color Classic to try and fix my first one (which has a weird blue blotch in the top left of the CRT, which is not going away after being plugged in and "on" for a long time to degauss).

Need an ADB mouse
Submitted by jonloch on October 6, 2008 - 1:37pmHey all,
I recently picked up a Colour Classic in great condition at a lot auction for $5. My intention is to let my little boy play around with it and learn a little too. However, it didn't have the mouse and there is nowhere near where I'm at that I could find one.
