lost all my songs on ipod!

i recently had to send my computer back but still had all my songs, but then i plugged my ipod into another computer and to down a tune and i got that tune but lost all my others!! Anybody please help!!!!!

I think that iTunes synchs the Ipod with the current library. If the library has changed so does the Ipod. I know if i want to delete something off my Ipod I delete it in iTunes and then synch up my Ipod and it deletes it durning the synch. All my PCs and Macs have the same libraries just because of that.

If you have your main music library on your mac, then connect you ipod to another Mac or a PC and you try to synch it, it will synch to the itunes on the next computer. If you had nothing in the not-default iTunes and click the button to synch to that computer, buh bye goes the music on the pod.

I know there's a program out there for Mac that can transfew files from the iPod to the computer. It was made just-in-case your HD crashed and had to reload up your itunes library FROM your ipod. I had to do it once a year ago but since then I haven't got the app name. Someone help with this one. Smile
