Has anyone actually seen the stepper motors fail on these things? I've got one that I've cleaned up rail-wise, and the head-bang is very soft, and the thing doesn't step properly. I've checked it out with another analog board and it does the same thing.
With regard to the stepper motor, I know I can find them online (I looked), but what sort of realignment is required if its replaced?
Apprecaite any guidance. Essentially the drive does not seek. I confirmed motor speed is within tolerance.
EDIT: I'm reading 36 ohms per coil on the motor. I can't really tell what the outputs of the ULN2003 are doing as I only have a DVM, I think I'd need an analog meter or more preferably an oscilloscope (which I have at home).
