I was repairing my Disk ][ when I found this 'sleeping' in the floor of the case:

(I think he might've been eating my drivebelt.)
I buried him with full mi//itary honors.
What's the strangest thing you've found inside an Apple?

Thank you. With the speed test on MECC I am getting only a small fluctuation from 299-301. Read/write test works perfectly each time. As it's only my Drive 2, do you see any harm in leaving the rubber band in there? I rarely use that drive, but wanted it to work when/if I do.
I've found a huge (I mean HUGE) mosquito inside an Apple Daisywheel printer that I had shipped from Louisiana.
I know mosquitos like daisies but that is ridiculous.

a bag of weed
live mice
dead mice
screwdriver
I know mice connect to Apples but that's ridiculous.
not to forget about spiders....
in one drive i found a family of spider mummy´s....
My mummy loved playing Spiderman but that's ridiculous.
lol yeah, same here. A big bag of reggie in an early apple II lol, stuffed up under the keyboard. I've found that and some scary big spiders. I once got an apple II plus that came from some ones attic. I start to pull this thing apart to clean it right; when out comes the BIGGEST frigging BROWN RECLUSE I have every seen! It crawled out from the space between the motherboard & base plate. It scared the crap out of me, those things are nasty... I've seen people get bit by those things, basically your flesh rots off from the toxins in their venom. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me want to chunk! feww Chunk-age contained.
Any ways, I always check under the motherboard when cleaning now lol. Like a kid looking for a monster under the bed!
