Thanks in advance.

Mac Plus

It's the same as the mouse used on the Mac 128/512/Plus.

Apple //c+ mouse

The mouse I use on my Apple //c is
the Apple mouse model number M0100.
This works correctly with the //c
and //c+

For the actual A2 mouse, it's

For the actual A2 mouse, it's model number A2M4015. Visually, it's got a case colored & flush mount button. Also, the Apple logo is an engraved outline and not the sunken square of the Mac mice. The plug is the same smaller and smoothed style as the later Plus mice, and it has the mouse icon on one side, and the Apple logo and the numbers KPT-0044J-03 on mine. The older 128K/512k mice had larger plug casings with large thumb screws that had teh Apple logo on the ends.

I've got about five examples with all 3 of these types represented. Are there any other versions of the 9-pin Apple mouse besides: Original 128/512k M0100 with brown button, Plus M0100 Platinum button and smoother plug, and the Apple ][ A2M4015?

I have both a A2M4015 labled

I have both a A2M4015 labled just "Mouse" on the bottom, and a "Apple(R) Mouse IIc", with model number A2M4035.

The latter looks just like my Mac Plus mouse, but has a platinum colored button.

Also, the plug on my A2M4015 has a number molded on it, raised above the surface, possibly part number: 590-0300, and the A2M4035 has another number: 590-0369. This would suggest the Apple Mouse IIc is a later version, and the Mouse the earlier. IIRC, I do remember seeing a mouse just like A2M4035, but had the M0100. I dunno what the differences are between the two.
