Fitting PAL Encoder card

Apple II

Hi

I recently managed to obtain a PAL Encoder card to give me colour (color) output from my Europlus.

Is there a recommended slot to fit this into?

Also, the card has a trailing wire (Orange, in my case), which I assume has to be connected to the motherboard somewhere.

Which connector should this wire be attached to?

Regards
Mark

Pal Encoder

Hi,
do you own a Digitek PAL Encoder Board? As far as I remember the PAL Encoder Board fits into slot 7 usually. The wire should be connected to video pin on the auxiliary video output connector J14(?)at the right side near the cassette and video output ports. J14 has four pins. I will try to find the manual for this card to check the correctness of the video pin on J14.
Kind regards,
Karl

Pal Encoder

Hi,
I found the manual for the Digitek Clour Encoder Card. I should also have a complete Apple PAL Encoder set. Let me know how I can help you.
Kind regards,
Karl

The seller sent on the origin

The seller sent on the original documentation for the Apple PAL Encoder card so when I get some time, I'm going to fit it and try out some "colour" games. It also came with a modulator attached, for plugging into a TV.

Thanks for the offers of help.

Incidentally, the trailing Orange wire from the PAL card I enquired about, plugs onto the 3rd pin from the left (or second from the right), of the 4 pin connector closest to the video output, at the back-right corner of the motherboard, within reach of slot 7.
