512mb in b/w?

hey i was just wondering if uyou can use 512mb sticks of ram in a b/w? i know that you can use 256mbs as long as its double sided, but is it the same with the 512s?

I don't think so. If you could, the maximum RAM capacity would be 2 GB, but it is only 1 GB. I can try it tomorrow if you want me to.

well anyways could you try it for me because i have 2 512mb sticks and i dont know if i should sell them or save them for the b/w im getting.

Okay, I tried a 512 MB stick

Okay, I tried a 512 MB stick of double-sided RAM, and the B&W booted fine, but it only recognizes it as 256. In that case, you'll be better off to sell them and buy all 256 DIMM's.
