Modding the iBook G4 keyboard...

I modded a Pismo Keyboard earlier, and was able to fit the ibook keys onto it
See:

I am wondering, does the G4 ibook use the same clips as the earlier Dual USB's, or is it NOT possible to put the Bronze keys on it that I have left over from the Pismo?

No hope...

Sad there is no hope for it. I just pried one of the keys off of the iBook keyboard, and tried to match it with a Pismo key. The clips are so radically different, it doesn't even match the Dual USB G3 key clips. I am thinking the Al keys from the PB keyboard (if I can afford one) most likely the 12"

iBook G4 keyboard

What revision iBook G4 are you using? The 800-1ghz iBook G4 use the same scissor mechanisms and key caps are interchageable between the those and the iBook G3. The iBook G4 (late 2004) has used a variety of different keycaps and scissor keys. There have been at least three different revisions of keyboards on the iBook G4's keyboards since October 2004.

I was able to put titanium keycaps on the keyboard of my fiancee's iBook G4. I had made a backlit keyboard from an iBook G3 keyboard that works. I managed to take the fibre optics from a g4 15" and adapted them to work off of the internal usb connector utilized for an internal bluetooth module.

I spend all my days fixing broken iBook G4's at a one to one initiative school district, so pm me if you have any iBook questions.

Dual USB

Fortunately, the dual usb keyboards will work on your iBook G4.
