An Interesting Coincidence...

One of the Apple II threads happened to mention Typewriters.
I believe it had to do with the feel of keyboards.
When I get up on Sundays my favorite morning show is "Sunday Morning" on CBS.

Is the Quicktake a solution?

Thanks Doc!

Doc,

I just wanted to thank you for all of the Color Classic Project pages.
It gives me an idea of what I can do with mine when I finally get around to it. lol Smile

New iPod Touch battery

I was wondering if anyone here has had to replace the battery in their Touch. I only have limited experience soldering and I'm wondering if it is worth bothering with. The battery still carries a good charge but less than what it used to. It is only a first generation model too.

I've had to go into it to replace a bad sleep/wake button so getting inside isn't the problem.

Belkin ADB to USB adapter?

I've been looking on-and-off for an ADB to USB adapter to use with both my MDD G4 and PC (through a KVM). The Macintosh Extended Keyboard II is such a great keyboard to type on, so I'd like to have it set up on my primary machines.

Problem is, the Griffin adapter commands a high price, but I've seen the Belkin adapter for much less.

Trenton Computer Fest 2010 - 24 & 25 April

Just a shoutout to remind y'all TCF 2010 is this weekend. I'll be there, look for my old '85 VW Golf in the outdoor flea market area. Be nice to meet any AFers who might be able to stop by. Saturday looks to be gorgeous, Sunday rainy.

Newton BIC

Well, I just did a Proxy Purchase for a Newton BIC.
Just wanted to let people know about the photos I took of it.
Will maybe do some retakes also later before I forward to new owner.
Here is the link for it for your viewing pleasure.

The Apple //tb ?

From the archives comes pictures of this tablet computer prototype for Apple from 1983;

It was code named Bashful, after the dwarf from Snow White. Recognize the keyboard?

Here's the article link at Wire;

Panasonic Toughbook meets OS X

This is one of those *could I* questions with a real world intention...

Apple portables (Newton, iPhone, iPod)

I'd like to make a suggestion to start a thread of Apple products for the small portable devices Apple made and will make.

These would be such devices as the Newton series, the ipod series, the iPhone series, and even the Quicktake camera, and such independant portable devices.
