I was given a near mint iPhone 3G in the box when a friend upgraded to the iPhone 4S. She went to AT&T and they copied over her settings etc to the 4S and now the 3G says 'no service". I put in my AT&T sim card from my old flip phone and turned off data in the phones settings, tested it and it makes calls and receives calls.

Google's "Let it snow" easter egg.

So, have any of you guys seen google's easter egg when you google search "Let it snow"?

Normally I use Yahoo Search, but a friend told me about it and I had to pass it on. It's fun to watch the virtual frost cover up your google page. Plus, when there is enough "frost" on the page, you can draw patterns on the page before clicking the "Clear page" button.

The Chat Room

I know we have a Chat Room, but do we have any scheduled Chat Sessions?

I would like to suggest that we have a weekly Chat Session for any and all intersted in discussing different topics.

This could take place on a Friday, or Saturday evening. Or it could take place when the lead moderator thinks it would be best for his/her schedule.

Any ideas?

The Passing Of Steve Jobs

I was just up on AOL checking ny e-mail, the first thing that came up for news was the passing of Steve Jobs at age 56.
There was nothing else there as this was supposed to be a developing story.

Has anyone else heard anything?
