I decided to test my AI InnerDrives using the utilities that came with them, Disk Doctor and ID formatter. One drive came back with 3 errors that Disk Doctor war unable to correct.
My first thought was to format the drive but 8 bit drives are hard to find and there’s a possibility that the formatting might fail leaving me with a dead drive. Right now the drive is functional though I assume that if I try to write to those sectors the file will likely be corrupted.
Use something like C2P (Verify Files) or Blockwarden to identify if those sectors are in use. If so, rename those file(s) something like BAD - DO NOT DELETE. Then they will remain permanently locked and won't get used again.

It seems that when I try to verify files, the errors are all in the first partition in the system folder. Since I don’t seem to have any problems running GSOS I’ll let things be for now. I’ll just put a note about this in case issues come up years from now.
I’m bigger on notes now. I think I’ll never forget something and then a decade or two later I have.
Even if it seems ok, I suggest copying the system folder from the first partition into another partition so you'll have a reference copy of what those files contain now. In future that will enable you to answer any questions that may arise later, such as "Have any of those files changed since 2026?" or "Was that file corrupt/intact before?"
I have more than one InnerDrive with exactly the same software. I was thinking that if I have issues with this system then I’ll rename this System folder and then copy the System folder over from another InnerDrive.
