Apple multi-button mouse

Recent rumours (that'll date this post) suggest that Apple may be developing a two-button mouse. Here's a sneak peek.

Very Clever!

What did you use to modify the mouse button?

I hope it wasn't a working mouse that you ripped up; the old Mac Plus mouses are getting hard to find... at least I had a tough time tracking one down last fall!

I left out the ugly bit. It's just various pieces of plastic crudely hacked up and glued in place.

It was a while ago, but I have a vague memory of the cord being cut off; I don't think I tested the electronics. I still have at least a few in storage -- they're certainly more common around here than working Mac Plus flybacks.

Wow

Looks really good, but I'm pretty sure you could grab an octagonal-shaped wheel (something with rough ridges) over the current scroll wheel. Smile

Do these come in IIgs-compatible ADB format? Smile
