holy crud! This is great!

For the last 8 (10?) years TCF has been held in Edison, NJ, about a 45 min drive from my home in Trenton. I had just assumed it was to held there again this year, but I'm astonished to just now discover it's back in Trenton this year. Woohoo!!!

This is sooo coool, it's in Ewing Township, mebbe 4 miles away from my house. Good thing I checked the website, I was all set to get up an hour earlier and drive all the way to Edison! Doh!! Biggrin

I was at the very first TCF as a kid, seems so long ago. Oh, it was so long ago!!

Wow, that's a blast from the past

When I was a kid, my dad and I would go every year. Then we moved to Florida in 97. Irregardless, I'd forgotten about it. I live in Pittsburgh now, and hmmmm, this may be doable. I'm not sure how my fiancee would feel about that. If anyone in the vicinity of western or central pa is going, maybe we can carpool?

Free Apple 17" Display

I have a free 17" Apple display with ADC connector. Story is that it was purchased by a competitor (I don't know who - I got it at auction), disasssembled, and reassembled. After reassembly, it didn't work. The display is in the original box, with paper work.

I bought it to tinker with, not realizing it used an ADC connector, and I don't intend to buy an adapter for a display that doesn't work.

It's free to anybody who will pick it up at TCF (must confirm in advance) or here in York, PA.

Dan K - Danke

Hmm...

I was under the misguided impression that Dankephoto was a concatenation of the German word "Danke" and the English word "Photo".

Apparently, not.
