Takky and ATX PS

I am adding a compaq PS to my Takky, and I was considering using an ATX so I could use the ON pin from the origional analog board for the new PS, would this work, or are there voltage problems?

I think it'll be fine. I would use a relay to turn on the ATX PSU when the CC board is running...you could pick off one of the hard drive 12volt lines and ground to run the relay or wire it right to the DC stuff on the 630 harness... should work fine. I'm using an ATX PSU but its triggered by the motherboard (MSI Celeron board combo).

I was planning on running a w

I was planning on running a wire from the Analog board to the /PS_ON,
but what do I do with the other wires like PWR_OK?

If that really is a Compaq br

If that really is a Compaq brand PS, be sure to verify the pinouts. Dell, Compaq and a few others have made PSs that use the ATX plug w/ different pinouts. It'd be a shame to have a CC get burned becuase of something like that going wrong.

Just ignore all the wires except the green power on wire.
