TV on a clamshell

i have an ibook 466, with 586 MB, otherwise pretty much the way it came. also, running panther. is it at all possible to use it as a tv? thanks!

Yes you can with the exception of Panther. I have a Xclaim TV USB Edition tv tuner by ATI. I don't know if it is compatible with OS X.

It hooks up via USB and you hook your cable to it and load the software. Works with any USB enabled Apple system. It will give you full screen or a little screen in the corner as you work.

you might want to check out Dazzle's older products

I assume you can boot into OS 9 too. So, if you look for a Dazzle (before they became the NEW worthless company) that works with Mac, that should work. I think it does S-Video and composite. Then you can take a portable TV receiver and connect that to it. (I know they have them) just goole for it, or go on ebay
