HD size limit under A/UX 3.1.1?

Does anyone know what the HD (or partition) size limit is under A/UX 3.1.1?

I'm planning on putting four 18GB SCSI HDs into my Quadra 950 for use as a storage for old software (mostly classic MacOS, drivers, old educational games, etc.). Also if anyone knows what is the best way (without the AWS 95 card) to "mirror" half of them (automated backup is an option, but which software?) under A/UX, I would appreciate any hints.

Thanks

IC

Mirroring...

You can have it mirrored by Retrospect, which is included in A/UX.

IIRC, the hard drive has a large upper limit, it will definatly take 4GB and beyond as I had it installed on a 4GB HD myself. If it won't work correctly, you could partition it up, having seperate /usr, /home, etc. partitions.

Thanks

Aha, I didn't realize that Retrospect could do that (I hadn't looked at it). I'm actually planning on keeping the system on a separate 4GB HD and then make a single 36GB (or two 18GB) partition mirrored between the 4 18GB drives.

Thanks
