the odd thing is that me se FDHD will boot system 1.0, odd eh? i thought they only supported system 4.x-7.5.5

All SEs will do this. And it will do a few more things like run applications that are compatible with SE ROMs. But it won't work with any HFS disks or an ethernet card or SCSI disks etc

I might be wrong (My se broke a long time ago), but when I tried it on my se, it mounted the hd. But I might be wrong.
