Does anyone have an update on any taco projects? I have the full chassis for a G3 AIO and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck squeezing at least the motherboard in.

The logic board will fit fine vertically behind an LCD display, but blocking the floppy slot, or course.

I hope that this summer will see the end of the project!

I have finally got my things from the storage (so I got access to my scanner). I'll scan the photos I have made last November and hopefully will get them on a web soon.
My Taco was fully assembled and working since November (although there were some beige logic board issues so I had to buy a new one).
Basically I have the same Layout of the LB as on Stuart's photo, plus I have rewired CC's sound and brightness buttons (at the front panel of the CC) to the buttons of the OSD control of my LCD (so the LCD settings can be easily changed). I have also added internal TV tuner (using hack from Japanese site - works only in OS 9 and seems to be buggy) plus I have single SCSI HDD (with a bay for second HDD) and slot-loading DVD-ROM to the right side of the CC.
Finally I uploaded my Taco photos I did back in November 2003. I apologise for the poor quality of some of the photos - they were taken by normal (non-digital) camera.
Here is http://www.applefritter.com/node/view/3001 Taco in action fully assembled running MacOS X 10.2.6. Then there is also a bad picture http://www.applefritter.com/node/view/3002 of Taco running MacOS 9.2.
The internals:
That is basically it (at that time I have run out of film in a camera - otherwise I would have taken more of those photos).
Any questions - please don't hesitate to ask.
Wow Alexy -- nice work!
One request -- could you take a pic of the fully assembled Taco that shows the lefthand side, with the cutout for the logic board ports?
Matt
I will certainly do - but it won't be fast (it won't be tomorrow) as I don't have a digital camera (so I'll have to take pictures with usual one, develop them and scan after that).
Basically I have cut the square holes for ADB port (keyboard), printer port, Ethernet, video and big hole for holding AV personality card. The last one was rather special because it had to be precisely corresponding to the card size - otherwise the card would sit there loosely (because it does not have any chassis to attach it to).
Unfortunately (as I found out later) the AV card is not quite supported by Apple anymore. It does not work in MacOS X and MacOS 9.2 support for it is quite buggy. So it was kind of waste of time ;-[
