home brew console help

OK so my freinds and i have decided on a new project involving designing and building our own homebrew game console, we have settled on the ARM7 platform but i have no idea where to go from there, the interent has a lot on the ARM7 but nothing on using it like this, infact the only usage of it in this manner i can find is the bame boy advance, can any vody help me?

From there you need to decide

From there you need to decide on a good serial controller, graphics controller, sound controller, then design a board for all of it. Then you get to adapt an ARM7 compiler for it, then you have the task of writing software. Sounds complicated to me.

They also sell a development board ready to go, dunno what the CPU is on it though.

I am pretty sure it is an ARM

I am pretty sure it is an ARM microcontroller maybe the ARM7 or 6
