Wanted: Shareware game circa 1992: Jewelbox

Hello,

Sorry if this isn't exactly the right forum for this request.

I am searching for a Macintosh shareware game from the early 90s called Jewelbox. You can see a picture of it here:

http://www.grenier-du-mac.net/dossier_tetris/variations.htm

I have scoured the net to no avail. I've searched info-mac archives but they seem to have nothing before 1995 or so. I desperately want the music from this game and I had it at one time. However, I lost everything in a hard drive crash somewhere around 1997.

Does anyone have a copy of this shareware game or know where I could find one?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

They've changed names

Now they are Hot Rod Games. Unfortunately, the web site isn't quite there, but you can contact the author via email.

Hope this helps!

This post is years old, I know... but I'm taking any chance I can get! How did you obtain Jewelbox, Miles? The only place I can find to actually download it is http://macintoshgarden.org/games/jewelbox, but when I open it on my laptop with OS9, it's just a folder of .dsk files. Where did you get it?

aymeighp, you should be able to convert those .dsk files to floppies or simply mount the disk images (and run the app from there) or run them in an emulator.
There are several different programs that turn .dsk files into floppies and numerous emulators out there.
