iSync & Mail Messages?

I can't seem to find a clear answer on this anywhere -- but does iSync synchronize email messages across multiple macs?

Here's a scenario

Home-based mac running Mail, with three POP3 accounts, used to check mail and such when at home
Mobile mac, PowerBook G4, same POP3 accounts, used to check mail on the road.

Now, I'd want to maintain the same inbox across both of my machines, is it possible to sync the messages between macs before I go on the road, to bring everything up to date, go on the road, check my email, come home, and sync the new messages I got on the road back to my home mac? Both running X.4

I can't seem to find ANY definitive answer anywhere on the internet, and I'd like to find out -- I'd try it, but I haven't got my mobile mac yet Blum 3

Can you use IMAP with those accounts? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMAP

Multiple clients can simultaneously connect to the same mailbox
The POP3 protocol assumes the currently connected client is the only client connected to the mailbox. In contrast, the IMAP protocol specifically allows simultaneous access by multiple clients and provides mechanisms for clients to detect changes made to the mailbox by other, concurrently connected, clients.

Nay, If I could, I wouldn't be having this problem -- I've only got POP3 access, making it annoying to deal with without some kind of syncing software.
