Complete //c with software library

Hey,

I have a complete //c system with external floppy drive, ImageWriter II, 12-inch Apple Color Composite monitor and all necessary cables and doodads. In addition, there is a huge software library and blank disks.

I thought that I would have the time to devote to this little baby but I don't. So . . . it's free for pickup in New York City. (Only if I haven't given you something for free recently.)

The machine and software is in excellent shape. I got it from an IT guy at a major financial outfit downtown. ("Downtown" as in financial district and not artsy-fartsy out-of-towners who think they're cool.)

If someone can make a compelling argument to ship all of this, I would need something in trade to offset the expense.

I'm also in no hurry, so talk to me.

Later . . .

I'm interested

I've sent you a so-called "private message" about it using the Applefritter mail service.

Cheers,

So?

Hey,

Is there a problem with that? This is the second //c that I've given away in the last 3 weeks or so. I didn't announce when the other one was claimed so what's up?

No problem I just wanted some

No problem I just wanted someone to post that it was gone so they didnt waste time writing no offense. Its just nice to take things down when they are gone.

Usually...

...the norm here is that when the deal is set in stone, folks post the change in product availability with a reasonable amount of time. Some, such as myself, choose to wait until we actually send the package since as much as two or three days can elapse between finalizing the deal and send the package (and I mean honestly good reasons).

Don't jump on william too hard, he's probably been put to task by his publisher.

william: BTW, how goes the book?

Just so you know . . .

Hey,

The //c is still on my desk. Arrangements have been made to pick it up. Until it is out of here, I'm keeping the lines open since if the pick-up doesn't happen I would then have to relist it. So I've been telling people that it's spoken for. Not to split hairs but that *is* different than "GONE." If -- for whatever reason -- the pick-up falls through, I would then contact people who expressed interest to let them know it was again available. N'est pas?

As for the book -- and thanks for asking, DDtM -- funny things happen in a rewrite. The version that was once available here was more or less a demo, a beta, an experiment . . . whatever. So what is happening now is an entirely different book and I'm much happier with it.

I was not trying to jump on a

I was not trying to jump on anyone. I just was a bit sad that It was not here anymore, I was especially interested in the software. I didn't mean to hurt anyones feelings, I just wanted to let people know that someone had spoken for it. I was just trying to make it easy for everyone.

Best regards
Patrick
