I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in a g3 mod I did this weekend where I removed the zip drive and replaced it with a fan controller. looks pretty nice I might add 
I just needed it to keep tabs on my overclocked processor since the g3 has no temp monitors. Would anyone else want this info and what would I post it under? Stories,forums, etc...

You only gave it a few hours before giving up, and this is the first time I've read your post - the next day. I'd be interested just to see how it was done. Even simple hacks are appreciated, even if to just see how it was done and possibly congratulate or suggest improvements.
Yes, don't even bother asking. If no one here is interested at the moment, there's probably always going to be someone at some time googling for such an idea. That's how I found this site. That's one of the reasons Tom created this place, I'm guessing.
Alright Ill post it under story with some pics. I just figured since lots of people are overclocking there mac g3's (blue and white I might add since i forgot) and dont know whats too much until they overheat it.
Now I'm definitely interested. I thought you were talking about a Beige G3--which has definite challenges to overcome when dealing with overheating cpu's. I've got three B&W's. Post away, please.
