1975 Datsun 280Z: I recently purchased this vehicle and it is great but it is dying while I'm driving and I don't know why. Fuel filter? Fuel injectors? I don't know. The problem isn't consistent. Please help!

Well first I would suggest checking your fuel filter, it is simple and a dirty one can cause some problems like the ones you are describing.
Refer to your owners manual for instructions, or search Google for more information. It shouldn't be too difficult.
