Hard drive interference with SE/30 CRT

I have a 7200RPM 4.3GB Seagate hard drive in my SE/30, and it works great except it causes interference with the CRT. What can I do to block it? Will ERS paper work? I am 99% sure it is some kind of magnetic interference.

there should be some shield o

there should be some shield over both the hard and floppy drives, which sit right under the CRT. if you are getting interferance, it must be either missing or damaged shielding. I think any kind of metal foil-like paper will work.

My SE/30s do the same thing.

My SE/30s do the same thing. It's just kind of normal. I've never seen an SE/30 with any kind of shielding on the drives.

I have never seen any shielding on the HD either. I would like to know what I can use to block the interference.
