Hi
Just got an Ibook G4 1.42 off of Clist. Wouldn't power up. Took a look inside and saw the speaker/power connect socket is disconnected from the logic board. Tips on how to solder it back on are vastly appreciated.
Thanks,
djam

How 'bout a picture so we can get an idea of the 'damage'?
on your skill level. It's very unlikely you'll be able to just solder it back on, as it usually rips the traces off the pcb, what you'll have to do is glue the switch down, and run extra wire (extremely small gauge) and follow the traces for the switch to another solder point, then solder it there.
