I have a iMac G3 350 and when attempting to connect to a WPA encrypted network fail to connect. Basically when I type in my key it gives me an error.

Are you sure it is a 802.11b compatible network? A lot of ones are now becoming 802.11g only, or higher, and that would give you an error too, as airport is only compatible with 802.11b.
More to your question though, and anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think OS 9 is compatible with WPA as support for OS 9 was dropped before the advent of WPA.
Yea i think OS 9 does wep only
I believe WPA only came about with 10.3 Panther.
