FS: Apple ImageWriter II with LocalTalk option card

I dusted up an Apple ImageWriter II printer to see if I can use it as a network printer for my IIgs. Initially tested it using a serial port, then installed the LocalTalk card, attached it to my LocalTalk/AppleTalk network, and installed the appropriate GS/OS drivers. Worked like a charm, and was surprised to see that there was still some ink left in the ribbon.

Package includes the printer, the orginal manual, the installed LocalTalk card, a power cable, and a serial/LocalTalk cable. If you don't want to use it as a network printer, you need to change a DIP switch setting (I currently have it switched to be a network printer).

The printer is inexpensive (although I'm not sure why one sold for $70+ on eBay), but it is nice to have installed that rare (?) LocalTalk card and see how network printing worked back in the days.

I will throw in two black printer ribbons (one is of the Apple brand, the other is a 3rd party brand) still sealed in plastic. Although sealed, I cannot guarantee the vintage stuff.

Asking for $40+shipping. Last time I weighed it, it was around 27lbs, so local pickup at Hillsboro, OR 97124 is encouraged to save on shipping charges.

LocalTalk option sold

The only working ImageWriter II that I have is quite yellowed (still in great working condition and no breaks or cracks) and selling for $10+shipping (the last one I shipped cost $22 in shipping).
