Given the lead time required

Given the lead time required to get a product like this to market, I don't think Lenovo could be accused of having copied the Macbook Air.

A link to Intel's ultra-thin notebook from May of last year seems to show an overall trend towards ultra-thin, with Apple making the biggest noise.

The Lenovo above gets extra points for having an optical drive.;)

Re: Given the lead time required

It's not that it is an ultra thin, it is that it is displayed coming out of an inter-office envelope, which was Apple's big thing with the introduction of the Macbook Air.

However, Markie over at [url=

However, Markie over at geektechnique.org did the same thing a long time ago, but with padded shipping envelopes. Always gotta wonder who at Apple watches the blogs. It's been documented that Apple has send a lot of hits Markie's way, esp. over the flaming-iBook GPU fix, etc...
