Hello,

I was going through my old simms and found 4 Texas Instruments TM024EAG8 64 pin simms and 4 (I believe TWI) 64 pin simms with Siemens chips. Is there any way to tell if these are for the IIfx or an old Amiga?

Re: 64 Pin Simms

64-pin SIMMs were also used in one-or-other Apple LaserWriter, but the cards were too slow for the IIfx, which needs 80ns chips or faster.

You can get the chip speed usually from the type-number's suffix, often of the form '-80' or the like. Help in interpreting the type-number may be acessible at:

I suppose if one was desperate, one could downclock the IIfx?
