That's great

Really very cool...

But I'd want a bootable Darwin partition, too.

It would be cool, if he got a Cube Logic board, and a color screen, it would be a new G4 SE!!!!!

Why the cube? The eMac's board is nearly as cheap, and much faster.

After seeing many horrible, kludgy, poorly thought PC-in-compact-Mac-case hacks I can finally say that this one was done *right*. The only visible mods to the front are the grey-scale screen (awesome detail idea) and the widened floppy-now-CD slot. The back is quite nice and clean. I'm amazed that they went to the trouble to use the original SE/30 expansion slot hole for more ports rather than hack up the backside. This is simply the best PC in a Mac hack I've seen. Ever.

Although the eMac mobo may be

Although the eMac mobo may be larger than a Cube's, that doesn't really say if it is too large to fit into a compacct case. Sure, mini-ITX is smaller than a baby ATX, but they both fit into a basic ATX case just fine.

Well how about an update?

Anyone going to put a Mac Mini in an SE or SE/30 case? I would use the SE as the SE/30 is a good computer and a classic Wink
