Forgive my bluntness, but the current image manager really sucks. About a month ago, I tried to upload a story to AF, but I couldnt' figure the image manager. First of all, it winds up NOT uploading most of the time. Second, you can't just upload an image, you have to write all kinds of info in, which is ridiculous. Third, I can't host my own images! I have reliable hosting, but I can understand the worry that if it does go down, AF will be stuck with unprofessional looking blue [?] thingies on all my articles...but this really has to be fixed.

Oh, and it would be great if I could just select a folder full of images and upload that. If I have an article with 14 images, it's a colossal pain in the @$$ to mess with all three.
Drupal 4.5 will have improved document management, which will integrate images. Hopefully this will be much easier to use.
