Vulcan power supply

Hoping to save myself some time searching. Does anyone here happen to know of a good replacement power supply for a IIgs Vulcan?

Re: Vulcan power supply

I replaced the internals of my Vulcan GS about 4 years ago. You can read about it here:

The only trouble is, I don't believe that the EOS "Red Rocket" supplies are that easy to come by any more. I think I got incredibly lucky, as they diappeared from Jameco's product list a short time later.

Anyhow, they are a great supply if you can find one. I put the 2nd one I purchased into an Amiga PSU and it works great too.

Another option would be to use one of Ultimate Micro's Universal PSU kits, I'm pretty certain that they support the Vulcan GS:

Hope that helps,
Mike

I bought a Ultimate Micro's Universal PSU kit but it only works in a Vulcan if you discard the hard drive. I'll see if I can find a Red Rocket power supply

There are a couple of the EOS MVLT80-4000's available right now on ebay ($22.00 to $99.99)

Online Components has them in stock (http://www.onlinecomponents.com/eos-power-mvlt804000.html?p=43855630). Price was ~$77.00
