Hello everyone, currently seeking a 5300 AC Adapter (same type as used on the 190's ). I have a couple extra Duo AC Adapters I'm willing to trade out for, otherwise, if you've got one, lemme know!

It is Apple model M3037. I have one remaining, new in box. I'm willing to sell it for $20 plus $6 for U.S. ground shipping. Contact me off-list if interested.

The unit I bought off of E-bay blew up in my face two days after it arrived, so sadly I've been without my much needed Power supply, hopefully someone has a 5300/190 AC adapter lying around. Model number is M3037, I've a small cache of duo parts for trade or will pay cash, the sole requirement being that you are certain any unit you might sell has more then a two day shelf life. Thanks!
will work, just add the proper plug to the end.
You mention Duo stuff, if you have a Duo adapter you could chop the plug off (just leave some cord on Duo-style plug so it could be reused) and attach a 5300 sized plug. The Duo PS isn't 45W, but will work, just won't charge the main battery and run PB at the same time.

At first I figured I could do that too, however when I gave it a shot I ran into two problems:
-first, the end and the duo's wiring are different, I tried a few combinations, but to no avail.
-second, even after I tried each, nothing happened, I didn't solder yet as I figured with tightly crimped wiring I could at least test it... but again.. to no avail. ..any site out there that can give me a photo diagram of what to do? Thanks!
I have a dead 5300 (screen), but still have the PS. I would swap you for two or three of those duo supplies, because I've got lots of duo, one supply. If you have a newer style adapter, I would trade you for one of those.

Hello everyone!
thanks for responding here, but I guess this can be considered a closed topic. I managed to shanghai an A/C adapter and discovered to my horror the 5300CE's power plug is just THAT bad and it really has nothing to do with the A/C Adapter. Tom, if you see this, I don't want to take up forum space for a solved issue, eh delete it if you could, thanks again!
