Hi!
Are there any IIGS emulators that I can run on OS Big Sur? The ones I downloaded--Sweet 16, KEGS, won't start because they need to be updated.
GSplus won't start because: “GSplus” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
I'm trying to open a document on my iMac that I created and saved on my IIGS on a word processor (WRITER'S CHOICE ELITE.) I'm creating the doc on the IIGS saving it on to a disk image on the floppy EMU but then I can't open that disk image (a .po file) anywhere on my iMac.
Any suggestions anyone? Any way to inspect the contents of a .po file without using a IIgs emulator?
GSPlus does work, you just have to right click it and click open. It will then make you verify that you want to run something from an unknown developer. You should be all set then, assuming you have a ][gs rom.
If you have access to a Windows machine, I think CiderPress can open po files, though I haven't tried that.
People don't understand why I both stopped developing for OSX and stopped using (updating) it. This, is why. Apple have decided to completely regulate what software the user is allowed to run, and require developers to jump through a lot of hoops to be approved.
