B&W G3?

I realize you probably are learning english... maybe an online translater web page would help.

I think you mean the "Teal Blue" colored (called a "Blue and White") G3... The RAM for that is PC100 (100 Mhz bus). Some PC133's will work, but there's no real benefit to it.

Just checking, does your mac

Just checking, does your mac look like this: http://www.lowendmac.com/ppc/g3c.shtml ? In that case the other coments are true. You don't have an iMac, right? The one that looks like this: http://www.lowendmac.com/imacs/imac-d.shtml is an iMac. They take a difrent type of memory, usualy used in laptops called SO-Dimms.

iMac or Tower?

First off, please type in a language that we can understand.

That being said, look on the front of your computer. If it's an all in one design where the monitor seems to be THE computer, you have an iMac. It'll say "iMac" right underneath where the monitor glass stops.

If you have a G3 tower, it's definately BLUE. Look on the side (either one will do), and there should be a dark gray "G3" silk screened behind the Apple logo.

If it's a tower that seems a greenish-gray color, you may have an early Yikes! G4 tower. They ran at G3 speeds on the G3 motherboard, but with a G4 processor. The case is the same as the Blue G3's, but doesn't have anything asides from the Apple logo on either side.

Lay off icebook, he's from Venezuela. There is AOL and Chatroom style wording, and that is not what he used. Check his profile and see for yourself next time.

Everyone welcome

I think it's cool to have people around the world all coming to Applefritter. You need PC 100 168pin RAM and can put in 1Gb of it if you get two 512Mb sticks

400MHz

Read his post, It's 400MHz, there is no tray loading model that is faster than 333Mhz.

Sorry! I didn't realize that

Sorry! I didn't realize that you were from Venezuela - I guess I'm just used to people coming into forums and writing things in that way. Bugs the heck out of me if there's no legitimate reason. My deepest apologies. You're actually doing quite well for trying to learn English. Keep it up!

So, you have a green iMac 400... that'd be a DV I think... hey - is the green really bright (like lime green) or subdued (like a sage green)??
