What to buy in S.Korea/Japan

A friend is going over to S.Korea and Japan in November and offered to bring me back some electronics - whats good over there that will work **IN IRELAND*** and is cheaper than stuff in the EU - Anything cool really in the sub 200 euro price range Smile Feel free to post random links

What in the name of all that

What in the name of all that is good and fuzzy is *that* ??? Biggrin
Those crazy Asians....

Anyways, back on topic - whats cool and cheap? I presume Mac stuff won't work over here (Different Alphabet etc...) but what will? I've heard Vodafone phones do but I'm not 100% sure and what about GP32s? Are they as cheap to order off the web?

well

Regardless of the fact that if I had a friend going over there they'd be bringing me back a few grand's worth of cool crap like that Domo-Kun thing(:D)... this guy wants **electronics**.

Anyone?

like a watching a trainwreck...

I cannot avert my eyes from that link and the spinning head of Colin Mockery and the cameo of Elton John and the strange desire I have to drink Budwiser while watching Star Wars:PM It is cool and yet strangely disturbing and will most likely give my nightmares about hobos in my room and my inability to play guitar while Mr Bean and Pee Wee Herman mambo around the room...

OH GOD, GET THE SONG OUT OF MY HEAD!!! I DON'T EVEN SPEAK JAPANESE!!!

Pioneer

Check some of the japanese websites for home electronics from Pioneer and the like. With little more than an electrical adapter, you may find the sky is the limit.
