Getting CD Software to Mac

I recently purchased a neat calendar software program for my Compact Classic Macs. It is on CD, but is compatible with an SE with 2mb or higher. I got the CD onto G4 Mac w/ an internal CD, tried to get it to open with MiniVMac on my M1 Mac, but it won't let me drag the program into the window to try and open it. I tried creating a disk image with disk utility, but no luck there either. MiniVMac couldn't read it as a readble format. Does anyone know of a way to "translate" or make opening the software possible on MiviVMac?  My ultimate goal would be to get the software to run on the FloppyEmu so I can print the calendar pages from my SE and Plus. I think it would make a cool kitchen calendar. I don't have an external SCSI CD drive for my Macs, or this would have made the whole thing easier.
