Finding the files isn't my problem though
I did that and I got myself a nice CD-R copy and I got the Mac partitioned and a kernel to load. When it goes for the packages to install though it craps out on me, unable to find the CD for what it needs.
I think it's because the old Apple CDROM (it's a 6x or 8x) can't do CD-R's. Could be problems working the partitions. Bottom line is i'm looking for a printed 1.2 installer. Thanks though
Is there any particular reason for 1.2? There is direct support for 2.x and 3.0 for NuBus install kernels.
I'll even pay for shipping, Check you email. Or PM Me.
It can read CD-Rs fine...
Hrmm, well I could be overlooking somthing simple like the format of the CD. As for why, 1.2 cause I have documentation based from 1.2. That and the newer the linux the more
crap"features" are in the kernel and distribution. Thanks for your help though, if I run into more problems i'll get them into a more appropriate section.
