I'm stuck with the dual disk drive not letting me insert some disks. This started after I removed the disk mechanisms from the case for retrobrighting, and it seems disks get stuck right in the middle on the leading edge.
I'm prepared to send this drive to an expert, but are there obvious things I should look for?
The drives themselves appear to read and write disks fine otherwise.
Well, since you've removed the case before, remove it again and observe how the diskette inserts into the mechanism.
Perhaps your problem will relveal itself.
