Hello all,
I am looking for a copy of Microsoft's ALDS (Assembly Language Development System) for the Apple with CP/M.
The usual suspects (Asimov, etc) have not yielded anything.
Thanks,
Armando

Thank you!
It's on Asimov..

The manuals also used to be in a file called ALDS.PDF online. Can't find that - anyone got it?
Where did you last see it?
I can't find the exact link, but earlier today, and IIRC the reference was on comp.sys.apple2.I have the disk image. I just can't can't find the original documentation.ALDS is the forerunner to MASM, and allowed programmers to program for the Softcard Z80 and the 6502 (on CP/M).
I just did a search of csa2 for any reference to the ALDS documentation. Apparently it was put in a gmail account. The user name for the account is sys.apple2 and at one time the password was system2 or systemii. Unfortunately I tried both of those and was unable to get into the account. The last discussion on csa2 about the account was in 2018 and at that time no one knew what the password had been chaged to. Also the person who had set up the account passed away, so there was chance to ask him about it. I tried to recover the account but it asks for the phone number associated with the account and there doesn't seem to be any other way to get into the account.
Magnus - Thanks for trying! I had no idea how that email thing was supposed to work. I'm sure the docs are still out there - somewhere.Hopefully, with the current interest in emulation and the resurgence of "retrocomputing" guys like me fixing original equipment, someone will have it...
