Wish I could have gone to events like that back in the day. Unfortunately I was a penniless teenager and I grew up in a small town $#!+#0l3 in the midwest where nothing interesting ever happened and it was too far to go anywhere from.
In the 90s and early to mid 2000s I used to go to a lot of fun conventions and trade shows. But after that they kind of fell off and a lot of them went defunct due to Covid.
It's sad. I miss it. But I guess I don't miss how much air travel has become a hassle with the charade of TSA security circus since 9/11. That took a lot of the fun out of travel.
But the poster is super cool... If anyone actually went to that show it would be great if you'd post about your experience.
That is super cool SJ - thanks for sharing!
Here's another poster, for all the Steve Jobs haters lol!

Haha, excellent! I really like the first one. Already printed a small one, which looks great. I'll need to visit the local print shop for a proper poster.
What's the background of the second? Did you make that, or was that an actual poster from some (joke-)event? Kind of reminded me of the floppotron... :)
It's total BS, I made when I was one of my south park moods. It is based on an actual David Bowie poster however.
Both can be made available as any file type or size or whatever if anyone actually wants to print them, best thing to do is get the specs from where you plan on getting either of them printed.
Look at all them floppy lights! (@_@)
Could you easily create a file of the first poster in 7016 x 4961 at 300dpi? :)
I checked with a local print shop. They said that would be the perfect resolution for a poster over here, to avoid any kind of scaling. Our European paper has DIN A format. You know, it's this thing with the "Royal with cheese": It's because of the metric system! It's a slightly different aspect ratio, but with the poster's white background, it shouldn't matter much. And they print DIN A2 posters with 7016 x 4961 at 300dpi, which includes one or two extra pixels for overlap at the edges.
Revised and resised, with me moving, it took forever to get around to it.

Wow, thank you so much! :) These look absolutely great! I'll be visiting my local print shop soon...
Concerning the second poster: but isn't that Apple missing a byte... I mean a bite? ;-)
It does have a bite, it's on the back side where you can't see it....(@_@)
Why were you kicking Steve Jobs when he was down and out?
All celebrities get mocked at some point or another, the price of fame, ever watch south park?
Thanks again, Khaibitgfx, for making these! And for even making a pixel-perfect variant matching the paper dimensions on this side of the pond.
Now time to redecorate my Apple II corner... :)

Certainly looks good to me, how much did the printing and frames come too?
Here is another poster sample, it's just a preview sample.
How clear the dark background and it's clarity depends on the printer, on my computer it looks fine on other monitors too dark, since it's 100% vector, anything can be changed which is the nice part vs scanned rubbish.

This is the originally printed newspaper edition. It's rather horrid looking, but it's newspaper print, something tells me the glass is not uv protection..

The best museum glass in the world won't keep newsprint from yellowing because the paper pulp contains acids from the pulping process. There are chemicals that can delay decomposition but ultimately it will happen.
Did you know that before the era of newsprint (when naturally acid-free rag paper was all there was) many 18th century documents were damaged by postal workers by literally sprinkling them with vinegar? It was thought to prevent the transmission of plague.
