How to use CFFA3000 and RamFast SCSI together in an Apple IIGS?

Anyone used the CFFA 3000 along with the RamFast SCSI on an Apple IIGS? Any issues with this setup and which slot should each card be in?

I’ve used the CFFA3000

I’ve used the CFFA3000 occasionally with a Ramfast SCSI card. I’d normally have the Ramfast in slot 7 and the CFFA3000 in slot 1 or 2. I never had any issues but I do this only once or twice a year. Mostly it’s just to transfer something I downloaded to the Ramfasts HD.

Do you have any issues emaulating 5.25 and 3.5 inch floppies and also smartport hdd images?

I want to boot off my SCSI hdd from the Ramfast SCSI card as well. I just want to use teh CFFA3000 to emulate and use hdd images.

I’ve used it for floppy

I’ve used it for floppy images and as a HD. Never had a problem.

That said, I prefer real floppies so with a few exceptions I’ve mostly used it to copy onto a real disk.

It works well as a HD but I have a number of faster options. Also I sometimes go with different things for a while. A few months ago I took my stealth IIgs to a Retro computer meet and used  a Focus card with mechanical hard drive as era appropriate. I’ve been using it since. Probably switch to something else soon.
