Hello there,
I try to salvage a Macintosh Plus found at the recycling center and I need to change the keyboard connector located on the main board.
Anybody has a provider and reference for this kind of connector ?
Looks like RJ11 but not so sure...
Regards.
Philippe

I have done it for similar connetors on computers like the Kaypro but not to one of the original MAC's.
How did the original break? There are many out there:
https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Modular-Telephone-Socket-Connector/dp/B00LUTCHDS
or
https://www.sunrom.com/c/signals
it would be best to remove the old one first to see what style it is.
Hello,
The socket has been 'rotated' of 1/8 turn...
I am away but will post a picture next week.
Also this Mac has suffer of severe acid leakage from the battery located on the power supply board.
What is the best way to clean the boards ?
Regards.Philippe
I am a huge fan of using the dishwasher to get off dirt, capacitor leakage, and other grime.
