Saw this come on ebay a couple of days ago, what are the predictions of its value?
The last one sold for $1800, however this one is a very early production, although a bit dirty.

I think I mentioned this in an earlirr thread. This is not the correct one for the Apple-1 and is much more common than the one the early Apple-1 used, if common can be used for a white 6502. You can typically recover these kind of 6502 from early Kim-1 that costs around a grand and you still have the Kim-1, all you need is skill and a desoldering station and a gold plater to clean up the leads. Or if you are lucky it's socketed.
So I would guess around $1000-1500 would be the going rate, but it really is demand. Personally I wouldn't sell a "collectible" so near to the beginning of school, people tend to have less "fun" money left by then which can also effect the price.
Keep in mind the one that just went for 1800 was a silver top wide package. They went for this price a few years back even before people started getting back into Apple-1 replicas. The silver top is very desirable to chip collectors so I was surprised it would have a buy it now of 1800 that's why it didn't last a day, it should have been much higher.
Now think on this.... I wonder what a 6501 would go for in the wild... Now those are rare
Cheers,
Corey
Thanks for the reply Corey,
It sold for $1336
About right for that chip
