Old Apple ][ expansion cards
Interface 24 card designed by David N Anderson in 1982 for Namal Electronics had 3x8 I/O ports. Drivers were available so one of the ports could be used to run a parallel (centronics) printer.
Drivers were also developed to run using the Microsoft CP/M card for Apple allowing printing from CP/M.
It stands today as a significant historical artifact reflecting:
