Happy New Year, everyone.
I've had a LaserWriter 320 sitting around for a year or more that I've only just now got running. It works well except for some intermittent paper jams and inconsistent toner marks on the pages. I know it is an older printer, and I only want to get it working so I can say that it is.
I work with modern printers on a nearly daily basis, sourcing those kits/toner is simple.
This 20+ year old machine is another story. Just wondering if anyone knows where I could source a refurbed maintenance kit or toner cartridge?
It's been a long time, but I'm pretty sure the 320 is the same as the HP 4L/4P. I don't think I've ever replaced the fuser on a 320, but I have on other LaserWriters using the HP equivalent works just fine. I would probably buy HP Part number RG5-0676-000 and find some rollers for the 4L/4P. Maybe someone who's worked with this model can comment.
I'd be nearly 100% certain that the HP 74A toner would work just fine.
Thanks! I'll look into that.
