Are you trying to use a RAM

Are you trying to use a RAM drive? Because that looks like a command to try and list the co tents of a RAM drive. Or just want to know how much RAM is physically present in the machine? If the latter, just pop the lid and look. If you have a card in the Aux slot that says 80 col extened, the. You have 128k. If it just says 80 col, then you have 64k.

I have a card where 64K is written which should also allow 80 column display. But isn't there a command that shows the amount of RAM on the screen without opening the computer?

Just download and run Apex:

The ProDOS command is: CATALOG /RAM and not: CATALOG / RAM

But using this approach I don't think you'll ever see more than 64K.

Just download and run Apex II
