WTB: Power supply for AppleColor RGB Monitor M1297

I'm looking for a power supply for an AppleColor High-Resolution RGB Monitor - M1297
The power supply has a model number of CRZ700A.

Does anyone know if there are any other compatible power supplies that can be used on this monitor?
I've looked on eBay for it but have had no luck, and I can't find much information online about it.

Attached are pictures of my non working power supply.

Thanks!

You may be better off either

You may be better off either just buying another monitor or having that power supply repaired or rebuilt. The only way you're probably going to find a replacement for that power supply is to find someone who is parting out a monitor, and then you'll still be running the risk that it was the power supply in the other monitor that was bad or that it will eventually fail as well. Unfortunately, it is very often the case that it is the power supply that fails in these vintage electronics. Sometimes it takes other things out when it goes of course. Anyway, chances are that it may be something as simple as the electrolytic caps having leaked or dried out. There are sometimes other things that go bad in these supplies, and sometimes the caps take out other parts when they go, but the caps are the most common source of troubles in these.

softwarejanitor, thanks for

softwarejanitor, thanks for your reply. Yes, if I can't find a replacement power supply I'll get a quote for getting it repaired, and if it's going to cost more to repair than a monitor, I'll get a working replacement monitor instead, and part this one out.

Rebuilding the Power Supply

Here is a link to an Apple Document on rebuilding the power supply:

The document is for power

The document is for power supplies in general if you read the second half of the document it tells how any power supply functions.

You might be able to get one from http://www.applerescueofdenver.com/products-page/all-products-macintosh/applecolor-high-resolution-rgb-monitor/

, The listing has the Monitors #7 , #8 for $40 which includes S/H

Maybe you can get them to pull the power supply and just send that to you.
