Mine is a model FSD7010 -- got it at Wal-Mart. Mac OS X recognizes it as an AirPort card. Pretty slick.
It doesn't fit my 5300, and IDK if the Lombard will see it in Mac OS 9. I'll post again after I reboot.
I had to find a version of the AirPort software that would run in Mac OS 9.2.2 -- it's available on the Apple web site.
I installed AirPort 2.0.4 under Mac OS 9.2.2, and it *did not* see the Belkin card.
Recap:
PowerBook G3 Lombard, Belkin F5D7010 wireless card
Sees card as AirPort card under Mac OS 10.3.9
Does not recognize card under Mac OS 9.2.2
Can't find Mac OS 9 drivers for Belkin card
My question:
Has anyone tried one of the Belkin USB wifi adapters under Mac OS X? Does it work too?
Can a mod fix this?
